Storyteller and expert doodler, Dakota was born and raised on a small island in Washington state. He later moved to Chicago where he graduated from Columbia College Chicago (2022) with a BA in Animation and minor in Writing for Television.

 

During his time at Columbia, he gained experience as a layout/background artist for the short film "Cupid in Training". Since 2019, he has also worked on freelance illustration and graphic design.

 

He is excited to take what he's learned from these projects and transition to do what he loves most, character and story!
